Today’s track: Ball of the Dead Rat — The Teeth
I’m spent.
I took three meetings today, but really I spent the whole day promoting this party — and I’ve never felt so empowered in my entire life.
Friday basically.
I talked to all my vendors. I told the HOA. I told the seller — she’s got a copy of the playlist, so she knows every song I’m going to play. And I told her the truth: I think we’re going to get a great turnout.
Here’s the deal. Friday, one to five PM. Unlimited pizza. Unlimited dessert. Unlimited cigars. I think it’s going to be the biggest party of the Summer, and I think it’s going to be the who’s who of real estate.
It’s going to be packed.
If you’re a rookie — come. Reach out to me, tell me what you’re looking to do, and I’ll introduce you to somebody in that crowd who’s doing it at a high level.
There are going to be a ton of Winner Realty agents there. A lot of non-Winner Realty agents too. A ton of KREIA and KREE members — investors who are fired up. There are going to be connections everywhere. Home inspectors. Plumbers. Electricians. Wholesalers with off-market deals they post on OffMarket.deals.
Everyone, from all walks of life. It’s a great way to unwind into the weekend, and I think it’s going to be a ton of fun.
Everybody loves the location. A lot of people are buying into the vision!
I said getting ten people to a party like this would be a decent job. Forty, and I’ve done pretty well. My original goal was a hundred to four hundred people. Now? I’m expecting a hundred to a thousand people!
Colleen — my right hand, who runs operations for Winner Realty, runs dispo for OffMarket.deals, and handles contract-to-close for all our realtors — she’s the best in the business, and she’s been around me long enough to know how this goes. Her prediction: a hundred people.
Eric Payne with Kentucky Private Lending — I’ve kept him up to speed on everything — thinks we push three hundred. Eric is the Ted Lasso of hard money lending, you’ll recognize him you see him. I appreciate him believing in me!
So my goal now is four hundred to a thousand on Friday.
And you know what would make it more special? If you were one of them. If I got to say hi, talk to you, eat a slice of pizza with you. Stay awhile. Have a cigar. Introduce yourself to everyone there. Everybody’s coming to network, make friends, laugh, talk, and have a great time. Just enjoy life.
Work can be fun. It doesn’t have to suck. If you’re in the industry, come and enjoy yourself — you’re going to get a lot out of it, and it’s going to feel a little different than anything you’ve been to.
I made a nine-hour playlist, and I’m putting it on shuffle and letting the universe decide what we listen to. So get your Shazams ready.
